Traditional links point to where a file is located. If the server goes offline or the company deletes the file, the link breaks (Error 404), destroying your proof of asset backing.

IPFS points to what the file is. The file is cryptographically hashed. The hash becomes the link. If a single comma is altered in the legal contract, the hash changes, alerting the entire network to the forgery.
